.We're a local church that gathers in Seattle's University District, with members and friends from around the city, country, and globe. We focus on Kingdom transformation at many levels, from personal to urban to creation itself.
One of the ways we summarize our sense of purpose is simply this: Calling Creation to Life in Christ. Jesus, the "Word made flesh," came to give us Life, and we seek Life in Him as we worship together in Spirit and in Truth, as we extend the mercy and justice of God's Kingdom to the "least, last & lost," and as we invite "whosoever will" to be joined to God's people and be transformed by His marvelous love.

Artist's Call for Submissions: Commission 107
Rest * Give * Welcome
Consider a deeper economy where the rest and generosity which we experience in God are given expression in hospitality. As part of our "Commission 107" series, we invite creative artistry around the economy of a generous welcome, pouring out from our places of rest in God. Any artistic medium is welcome, and results should be submitted for the art exhibit at our Commission 107 Spring Celebration in Mid-May, 2014.
The Commission 107 series marks the 7th year of our Seattle Vineyard Centennial Project, begun when the building turned 100 years old. Learn more.
Historic Seattle Preservation Award
Historic Seattle has named the Seattle Vineyard for its "Best Preservation Practice" award, based on the paint project done on the building. Our special thanks go to Keith Miller of Miller Interior Design, LLC, who served as interior designer and color consultant for the project, and to Seattle MC Painters for their painting work.
Our building is also featured in a coffee table book of Seattle-based churches by Rick Grant entitled, "Inspired".
